Cosmic this year, we will have some surfboards, fins and hand planes to test in Liencres beach.

As in previous editions, you will be able to try out some new creatures provided by Pukas, Ahau, MW Surfboards and Donald Brink himself put some boards available to participants to test the fluidity of retro, experimental and asymmetric. This year we will also have some hand-planes shapers such as Michael Kenney and fin makers such as the local Macho brothers from Macho Fins, a local manufacturer spreading their stoke tru the globe delighting riders as Leah Dawson.

This weekend you will be able to ask all these great shapers for they give advice on shapes that best suit your surfing.

San Sebastian Surfilm Festibal’s starting a new adventure: SurfilmTOUR

Tree stops in some key surf meccas and a special screening in Madrid
Mundaka, Santander and Coruña, as well as Madrid, will host the screening thanks to the collaboration with Solar World Cinema, a mobile cinema, providing outdoor screenings powered 100% by solar energy.

El año pasado sorteamos entre los inscritos al festival un viaje a bordo del yate ANLORAN para surcar las aguas de Maldivas en busca de olas perfectas y este año no hemos querido ser menos y por ello os desvelamos uno de nuestros secretos mejor guardados y gran premio de esta edición, es nada menos que una semana gratis en el recientemente estrenado surfcamp de Maldivas MANGO SURF HOUSE, ubicado justo en frente de la famosísima ola de Jails, una de las mejores derechas de las islas.

Es muy importante que sepas que los dueños son españoles y que en todo momento están pendientes de tí en el camp. A la hora de surfear también están pendientes de que todo te vaya bien.

EL PREMIO consiste en lo siguiente:

1 semana de alojamiento (7 días / 6 noches)

3 comidas al dia

3 salidas a las olas por día

2015 will be pure passion for the surfing culture

Surfing legends, reknown shapers, surfer families, artists, activists and charismatic persons from the surfing culture will get together in Santander and  Liencres (Spain) to celebrate the first and best summer party you could ever dream of.

Surfers from around the world will come to celebrate the summer solstice to Cantabria (Spain) and join us for the 10th edition of the Zumosol Cosmic Children Festival presented by Billabong. The different events will take place in:

A pocas semanas del primer festival del verano, vamos contando los días para semejante reunión de míticos, clásicos del surf y jóvenes promesas en nuestras queridas olas. Este año cumplimos 10 añitos y varios de los grandes se darán cita para celebrar un 10º Aniversario en el que festejar la esencia del surfing y entre otras os enseñaremos La Primera Ola.

El 12 de junio arrancará un fin de semana cargado de salitre a raudales, single fins, cachondeo, rock&roll y lujuria. Como siempre se darán cita el pasado, el presente y el futuro más tierno del surfing en su estado puro.

Para abrir boca os dejamos un avance de LA PRIMERA OLA, el trailer del documental producido por Jocántaro Films y dirigido por Pedro Temboury, en el que se recogen los orígenes del surf en España a través de las declaraciones y anécdotas de nuestros amigos, los que empezaron hace algo más de 50 años con todo esto.

Un gran trabajo hecho con una buena selección de material inédito, kilómetros de cintas de Super8, más de 80 entrevistas a grandes persons, cientos de fotos sacadas del baúl de los recuerdos. En fin un peliculón digno de ver y para la ocasión reuniremos a los protas y mostraremos un avance de 12 minutos + Extras previo a su estreno definitivo en la gran pantalla del Surfilm Festival de San Sebastián el fin de semana siguiente al Cosmic.
